The main function of the Danilo and Josephine Foundation is to provide scholarships for deserving students in higher education. This foundation is currently very small, with a limited endowment and a limited ability to provide large scholarships. We believe, however, that any help we can offer to deserving students contributes to those students’ ability to complete their education.
Matulich Foundation, Inc. does not discriminate based on race, color, ethnicity, sex, sexual orientation, age, religion, or any other personal attribute. To qualify for a scholarship, you must be enrolled in an educational institution that accepts students after high school graduation. While the Foundation is small and has limited resources, scholarships are limited to students in Florida schools.Danilo and Josephine Matulich Scholarships are granted to students in any field without restrictions. The amount of the grant and number of grants depend on the resources of the Foundation and the size of its endowment.
Dr. Erika Matulich, BBA, MBA, PhD, PCM, (1963 – 2018) earned her doctorate from University of Wisconsin. She was Professor of Marketing at University of Tampa and devoted her life to education and animal rescue. The Erika Matulich Memorial Scholarship is designated specifically for students who actively pursue education oriented toward preserving and protecting animals and the natural environment. Donors may designate their contribution specifically for a fund restricted for the Erika Matulich Scholarship.

Scholarships are granted by means of a sweepstakes in which winners are selected by random drawing. All sweepstakes tokens are free to qualified students, with no request for donations. Each student applicant is assigned one sweepstakes token. Students who receive one free sweepstakes token may acquire more tokens by donating to the Foundation. This scholarship sweepstakes is open only to students enrolled in a Florida school of higher education.
NO CONTRIBUTION, DONATION, PURCHASE, OR PAYMENT IS NECESSARY AND DONATING WILL NOT INCREASE YOUR CHANCES OF BEING SELECTED. Donations are tax-deductible. This scholarship sweepstakes starts on September 1, 2024, at 12:01 a.m. Eastern Time and ends November 25, 2024, at 11:59 p.m. Eastern Time. Winners will be selected on or about December 2, 2024,and will be informed of the amount of their scholarship no later than December 20, 2024. This scholarship sweepstakes is open only to residents of Florida aged 18 and older who are enrolled as students in a Florida school of higher education. Registering with the Foundation for a scholarship by a qualified student provides one free entry into this sweepstakes, as stated in the official rules. Students who qualify for this sweepstakes are not asked for donations or payment. Void where prohibited. Odds of winning are one divided by the total number of tokens entered and recorded.
